Here at Media Credit, we like to consider ourselves as more than simply another debt collection agency. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that what we do, makes us the best choice for you. We have systems and personnel in place that ensure the quality of our service is premium. We can guide and manage the next stage of your credit control in a professional and customisable manner. We ensure that you have a dedicated contact who is familiar with both you and your debtors, so that you can have a full detailed update whenever you need it. We have found this to be essential as it is all to easy to become another faceless organisation. Our collection process is managed in stages that again, can be customised to meet your needs if required. Our general process starts by contacting your debtor via an initial letter. This lets your debtor know that we have been instructed in the recovery of this debt and will be managing their account for the immediate future until payment in full is made. We ensure that this stage is handled tactfully to ensure your future business with the debtor is not harmed. If no response is received to this letter, we then send a letter before action advising the debtor that legal action will be taken if payment is not made. This stage can be carried out on instruction if required to reduce the time taken to recover the debt. If at this stage no response or payment has been received, our expert team will make telephone contact with the debtor to attempt to resolve the debt without the need for further action and/or costs. If payment cannot be negotiated, we will advise you with regard to which legal action will give you the best possible outcome. Whilst we pride ourselves on a highly successful debt recovery rate, we are always keen to assist you in minimising you bad debts. With this in mind, we have created a short guide for you to help make your customers pay on time. Visit our Getting Paid on Time guide now and start reducing your bad debts. |
